The mission of the BST depends on the generous contributions of alumni/ae, friends, churches, foundations and corporations. There are several ways you can give the BST including cash/checks, credit card, stock, property, or planned gifts. Gifts may be designated for specific funds or given to our Seminary Fund to help with the general expenses of the institution. BST is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible.
GIFTS CAN BE DESIGNATED FOR
Seminary Fund – gifts to this fund help cover the costs of the institution such as program expenses, faculty and administrative salaries, facility maintenance, publications, insurance and other general operating costs.
Student Scholarship Fund – students who demonstrate financial need may receive a tuition grant up to 60% of the tuition cost. While the seminary has endowed scholarship funds, the financial needs of our students are greater than the funds generated by our endowment. The scholarship fund helps provide additional financial assistance to BST students. Endowed scholarships in honor of individuals can be established at $25,000.00 and above.
Capital Fund – where the annual fund helps to meet the ongoing care of the campus facilities, the Capital Fund helps the seminary meet special projects. In 2002, BST underwent a major capital project to renovate and seismic retrofit Gray Hall and Bratcher Hall, the two campus apartment buildings. Gifts to this fund help to offset the cost of this much needed project.
