OUR CAMPUS
Our address is 2606 Dwight Way, Berkeley, CA 94704. You will find the main entrance to Hobart Hall under a second-floor walkway, right off of Dwight Way, near the intersection where Bowditch St. ends at Dwight Way. Transportation will be provided to/from the Waterfront Hotel Jack London Square to BST's campus on Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22, 2022.
ALUMNI REUNION SHUTTLES
If you are staying at the Waterfront Hotel, shuttle transportation will be provided starting at 8am on Friday, October 21. The shuttle will run loops in the morning until the start of chapel. Please meet the shuttle at the fountain in the cul-de-sac just outside of the Waterfront Hotel (pictures below). At the end of the day, the shuttle will start to run loops again from 2:15pm until 3:45pm. On Saturday, October 22, the shuttle will start at 9am and run loops to campus all day for the alumni contentinental breakfast and BBQ.

AIRPORT INFORMATION
Depending on traffic, Berkeley School of Theology is about twenty minutes from Oakland International Airport (17 miles) and a thirty to forty-five-minute drive from San Francisco International Airport (25 miles).
In good traffic, the Waterfront Hotel at Jack London Square and Scott's Seafood are approximately fifteen minutes away from Oakland International Airport (8.3 miles) and at minimum thirty minutes from San Francisco International Airport (25 miles). GROUND TRANSPORTATION
OAKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (OAK)
- Car rentals: there are 11 car rental companies at Oakland International Airport. Please check OAK's website for further details including terminal shuttle pick-up and drop-off.
- Rideshare: Lyft, Uber, and Wingz all operate out of OAK.
- Public transportation including BART: You must purchase a Clipper Card ($3) in order to ride BART. The closest BART station to the Waterfront Hotel is the 12th Street Oakland City Center (orange line - $7.85 each way), about a fifteen minute walk away. BST is close to the Downtown Berkeley station ($4.80 one way - orange line, a 25 minute walk) and the Rockridge BART station (orange line transfer to yellow line - $5.65 one way - a 35 minute walk). BART trains run approximately every six minutes from OAK. Please check BART's website for maps and schedules.

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SFO)
- Rideshare: there are specific pick-up locations at each terminal for Lyft, Uber, and Wingz. Please check SFO's website to determine your pick-up location.
- BART: BART is the best mode of public transportation to East Bay. You must purchase a Clipper Card ($3) in order to ride BART, in addition to the fare. SFO BART station is located on the Departures/Ticketing Level of the International Terminal (G Gates side - click here for a map). The closest BART station to the Waterfront Hotel is the 12th Street Oakland City Center (orange line - $8.95 each way, about a 15 minute walk). BST is close to the Downtown Berkeley station ($4.80 one way - orange line, about a 25 minute walk) and the Rockridge BART station (orange line transfer to yellow line - $5.30 one way, about a 35 minute walk). DRIVING & PUBLIC PARKING LOTS NEAR BST
STREET PARKING
Parking is limited on neighborhood streets. Free street parking is limited to 2 hours in one place, effective Monday-Saturday 9 AM – 7 PM. Metered parking immediately around campus is $1/hr with a maximum of 8 hours. Meters accept Visa, Mastercard, or coins, and are in effect Monday-Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM. Please note that a parking ticket runs around $45+ in Berkeley.
STREET PARKING WILL BE IMPACTED ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22 AS THERE IS A CAL FOOTBALL GAME THAT DAY.
PARKING GARAGES
$20 All-Day (10 hours) at First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley. Their address is: 2407 Dana St, Berkeley, CA 94704. This is about seven minutes by foot to BST. To get there:
- From Dwight, travel north on Telegraph (it’s one-way).
- Turn left onto Channing.
- First Presbyterian Church’s parking garage is on the left, mid-block on Channing.
Hourly parking is available at LAZ Parking Telegraph Channing Garage. The first hour is free and then it is $1 per hour every hour. Their address is: 2450 Durant Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94704, approximated 6-minutes away by foot. To get there:
- From Dwight, travel north on Telegraph (it’s one-way).
- Turn left onto Channing.
- The parking garage is on the right, mid-block on Channing.
$13 All-Day at Douglas Parking on Durant. Their address is 2550 Durant Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704, about a nine-minute walk to BST. You can reserve a spot in advance through SpotHero app or their website. To get there:
- From Dwight, travel north on Telegraph (it’s one-way).
- Turn right onto Durant.
- Douglas Parking is on your right, at the far end of the block.
$13 All-Day at Douglas Parking on Bancroft. This lot is about a ten-minute walk to BST and their address is 2590 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94704. You can reserve a spot in advance through SpotHero app or their website.To get there:
- From Dwight, travel north on Telegraph (it's one-way).
- Turn right onto Durant.
- Turn left onto Bancroft (it's one-way).
- Douglas Parking will be on your left.

THERE IS A CAL FOOTBALL GAME ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2022. WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS TO MAKE PARKING RESERVATIONS FOR SATURDAY.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: BART/AC TRANSIT
- Take BART to the Rockridge BART Station (yellow line)
- At the Rockridge BART station and College Avenue, board AC Transit bus #51/ Broadway, headed North.
- Get off at College Avenue and Dwight Way
- Walk west on Dwight 1½ blocks to BST at 2606 Dwight Way
- Special Note: The #51/Broadway comes every 8 minutes. The ride takes 15 minutes, and the westward walk to BST is downhill, just a few minutes more.

- Walk South on Shattuck Ave towards Allston Way (.4 miles)
- Turn left on Dwight Way and walk to campus (.6 miles)
